OK Age Group
Championships
Oklahoma Swimming Member,
In a conference call February 5, 2010 with
a quorum of the voting members present the Executive Committee of
the Board of Directors of Oklahoma Swimming unanimously agreed to
hold the Oklahoma Swimming Short Course Age Group Championship meet
March 12-14, 2010 at the Oklahoma City Community College Aquatic
Center. The event will be hosted by Chesapeake Swim Club. The meet
information will be updated to reflect a new age up date for this
event. All other date specific information will be adjusted
according to the new event start date. The entry deadline for your
team's new entry file is now due to the Meet Director for this
event no later than 11:59 am March 8, 2010. All other meet
formatting information for this event will remain the same as
previously submitted for the Jan. 29, 2010 meet. The host club will
send out via electronic delivery a new event file and a revised
version of the Meet Information flyer to the entry contacts
previously on file for this meet. This announcement, the new event
file, meet information, all future announcements and updates will
be posted on the Oklahoma Swimming web site at www.oks.org as well as the host club web
site at www.chesapeakeswimclub.org.
The Executive Committee realizes that the change in
date for this championship meet may conflict with plans already
made in relationship to the public school calendar. This new
date will provide 3 additional opportunities to achieve
qualifying event time standards prior to the Age Group
Championship meet. Please feel free to contact me at your
