OKS athletes to U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming

U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming

For Immediate Release - Six swimmers with ties to Oklahoma will be participating in the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Swimming in Indianapolis, IN at Lucas Oil Stadium June 15-23, 2024.

Swimmers participating include;

Aiden Hayes - from Norman, OK is from the Sooner Swim Club in Norman and will be representing North Carolina State University.  Aiden will be swimming the 100 meter backstroke, 100 meter butterfly, and the 200 meter butterfly.

Micah Chambers - from Enid, OK is from the Aquatic Club of Enid and will represent the University of Tennessee.  Micah will be swimming the  100 meter freestyle.

Jack Callan - from Skiatook, OK is from Trident Aquatics Swim Club in Owasso and will represent them.  Jack will be swimming the 1500 meter freestyle.

Ryan Healy - from Edmond, OK is from King Marlin Swim Club in Edmond and will be representing the University of Michigan.  Ryan will be swimming the 400  meter individual medley.

Caroline Theil - from Enid, OK is from American Energy Swim Club in Edmond and will be representing them.  Caroline will be swimming the 200 meter individual medley.

JT Amrein - from Bonner Springs, KS and Oklahoma Christian University and will be swimming Unattached/Oklahoma.  JT will  be swimming the 100 meter breaststroke.

Event information

The U.S. Olympic Trials - Swimming are being held at Lucas Oil Stadium, home to the Indianapolis Colts where three temporary pools, two 50-meter and one 25-meter, have been installed.  The Olympic Trials are the most prestigious swimming event in the United States. The 2024 Olympic Trials will serve as the sole selection meet for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team, which will represent Team USA in the pool competition in Paris, France.
